Live Session Advantages
Speakers have the ability to answer questions live on camera.
Excitement is associated with the live component.
Perception that live sessions are more engaging for the audience.
Pre-Recorded Advantages
Decreased technology hassle means less stress.
It lowers the barrier to entry for speakers.
Speakers can be available for a live Q&A in the attendee chat.
The risk of a speaker saying something inappropriate or jumping into a sales pitch is removed.
You can edit the recording.

POST-PRODUCTION
There will most likely be a need for video editing after recording is complete and submitted. Verbal stumbles can be removed, shots can be alternated to make the video more engaging, and graphics and captions can be added. There are many video editing tools options.
